ISO Pathfinder

ISO Pathfinder is a series of Information Expos for international students across cities in country where ISO operate.

The goal of the Information Expos is to provide an opportunity for international students to have access to information advice, resources and links to services and networks that will provide them with the means to enhance their study and living experiences.

By holding an Information Expo, ISO aims to provide a single forum for international students to gain:

  • Increased awareness of key service options available that meet a range of different support needs to enhance their living and studying experiences
  • Increased understanding host country service systems
  • Knowledge of their rights and responsibilities under local laws and how they can seek assistance if their rights are breached
  • An opportunity to engage with stakeholders to discuss ways to improve international student services and support and
  • Access to pathways for further education, employment, innovation and entrepreneurship.

This Information Expo aims to assist stakeholder organisations to gain:

  • An opportunity to engage with international students to gain a better understanding of the needs of international students and the means to address these needs
  • A forum to facilitate the growth and sustainability and market insight through the promotion and showcasing of services, access sharing of information and resources that can lead to student recruitments and potential partnership opportunities
  • Maximising limited resources by facilitating collaboration between stakeholder organisations to develop a more integrated and holistic approach to international student service provision and support.
